You guys know me, been spamming your forum for like 3 months now.

What are the best places to eat in SLC? I kinda already get the just of the things to see. Olympic stuff, the mormon tabernacle, that outdoor mall, bonneville salt flats?

But if you guys have any places that a midwestern guy would enjoy post it up!

temple square is all lit up and purty right now. este and the pie for the best pizza. liberty park to smoke blunts out side, if need be. gateway mall for some shopping and scopin babes. you could probably even find some cheap jazz tickets, which is always fun. graywhale and slowtrain for music purchasing. go to causwell and oogle over the awesomeness of surface. go to 4 frnt and skate mini. theres a bunch to do, just get out there and have fun.

lol its so good though. thai food go to
Chanon Thai Cafe‎ 278 East 900 South, Salt Lake City, UT‎ - (801) 532-1177‎
its delicious
sushi go to Ah sushi, its downtown and youll have to be 21 I think

im above 21 so i cna hitup the bars.

never had thai food...is it at least americanized thai food? i see on restaurants.com SLC has like a million ethnic restaurants.

For Thai I heard Sawadee on South Temple and 754 east is chronic.

For good, immediate post shred food, Molca Salsa on 2901 East 3300 South is a must/amazing. Super convenient from BCC or LCC if you're skiing up in those areas.

If yo'ure skiing PC, there is a place called El Chubasco at 1890 Bonanza Drive that is pretty solid mexican food.

If you want Pizza, the Davanza's at Kimball Junction coming from PC is good and pretty easy. The one in downtown PC is good too.. Don't go to the one in SLC... i don't like it/the people really.

And, if you've never had it.... go to Cafe Rio... there are several around SLC. it's like a utah chain that is pretty solid. The Pork Barbacoa burito is amazing in my book... and for $8.00 it's a lot of food.

If you're legit looking to rock out and eat some serious grub.... Rodizio's Grill at Trolly Square is epic. It's a Brazilian steak house where they basically walk aroud with 16 different skewers and serve you whatever meat, grilled pineapple, pot roast, whatever you want until you're full... also a full salad bar that is dope. sorta pricey, but you can eat until you're dead.

- The End... thanks to a hammered Indiana night/morning with not shit to do, and a severe case of drunk munchies.

rich much pretty nailed it..

and the pie suckkks, just hit up estes or stoneground.

definitely go to molca, and el chubasco if you're up in park city

if you're looking for places that aren't chains... here's a few that i think are BOMB...

Lonestar Taqueria (many will lead you to molca salsa but it doesn't touch lonestar)

La Frontera

La Puente

Blue Plate Diner

Moochies

Dovanzas

there's more, i'll post them later if they come to mind but thats off the top of my head.

Ruths dinner up emmigration canyon has the best breakfast and even better lunch.
Moochies also is legit, if you want some chronic subs east coast sty;e

Tuscano's: Brazilian all you can eat grillThe Blue Iguana restaurant has a burrito challenge, you get a free ice cream afterwards
Rail Gardens would seem to be a pretty spot.
Sure temple square, but those missionaries just kill you with kindness and won't leave you alone. There is also a fancy wax museum, and Jesus in space!

For Sure. Chanon Thai is legit Thia food. Way good! I think it's on 9th south and about 4th east. It's right next to the Coco Cafe.

Also the Tavernacle Is a cool piano bar that is always packed with people on the weekend. It's on 3rd south and 2nd east.

For the over 21 experience go to the VF dub -Veterans of Foreign wars bar- (I think its around 2800 south 1500 east) on tuesday night. Its a dive bar but they have beer pong and flip cup plus 75 cent drafts and it can turn into quite the skier/snowboarder scene. And for good food, try the Cotton Bottom its right by the entrance to Big Cottonwood Canyon and has really good Garlic Burgers

tried the five guys burger place. and some stonehenge pizza place.
Pizza was kind of bland if you ask me.
Didn't do the Estes place on here like suggested but I think I tried to google it up or something.
I got another day here in SLC. Doing it up in LCC tomorrow.

What the hell are those lit up buildings that are all over town at night? They look like chuches and you can see them like a mile away. There is like 2 of them on the west side of town that I can see driving down 10600.

Also whats that city way off in the distance thats disconnected? How far is that away? Is it Toole?

lonestar is SO GOOD.i could live on those salads.
there's this run down looking chinese place called Longlife Veggie that's wicked good too.it looks like it hasn't changed for like 40 years, but it's delicious

but go to lonestar, seriously !!!

you got to love the utah forum everyone is chill , cool and helpful . you guys should see the idaho forum if something like this was posted it would turn into a cat fight. mad props utah for being so chill and helpful!

alright utah. now that im in michigan i can say you guys all suck assssssssssssssss at driving.

utah was a blast though. if only you guys didn't have so many cops snooping around everywhere. oh yeah. google "michigan u-turn" and be amazed.....

If your a hot girl you should come see my place... If you a guy I heard Euler has been trolling at the 4bi9 palace...

Thailand%20Map.jpg

food from Thailand goomba. You should spend some time lookin at maps:http://earth.google.com/#utm_campai...urce=en-ha-na-us-sk-eargen&utm_term=world map

porcupine grill right by the mouth of big cottonwood is dank, are you even in utah still or did I just waste my time?

im from a place in michigan that is even more white than salt lake city.

we don't have thai food here haha.

when i was at the canyons on new years eve i rode up the lift with two old gapers that claimed to be from michigan. cool story i know...

haha,

I hear ya on Utah drivers being terrible. I've never been to a state where the right lane (going up I-80) is essentially the fast lane and more people pass than on the left... because so many people are going 55mph in the fast lane.

Either way, hope your trip was legit.

And even know that homie is gone, if anyone eats at a really good restaurant, they should post it up in here. I'm always looking for new places to eat at.

Anyone get those Mailer envelopes with coupons in them? Blue iguana (under Benihana's downtown) has a two for one deal sometimes. the food is amazing and you can get a shit ton of it for the price of one entree. Highly recommend looking through that sometime.
