Hey guys.

I used to be into almost exclusively prog/rock, but as time's gone on I've started to appreciate electronica quite a bit. Unfortunately, I know nothing about good groups or anything - other than the Glitch Mob and some of AWOLNATION's stuff. I've looked up some stuff online, but I had a hard time finding good stuff. At first all I saw was prog/rockand was like OMG I know so much prog/rock and can help so much! Then I read on and saw you wanted suggestions for another genre and then I was disappointed hahaha

Have I hear of Dream Theater hahahaha Of course man I'm more into other progressive stuff like Tool, Porcupine Tree, Neal Morse Band, Opeth, to me Dream Theater sort of pisses me off because I hate Mike Portnoy, John Petrucci is just John Petrucci, and James LaBrie is annoying to listen to haha. If you haven't checked out the bands I listed your missing out haha

@NJurkiewicz - yeah i agree, mike portnoy's a bitch. I'm glad he quit.. their last albums with him were god-awful. Mangini brought life back to them. But yeah, I'll agree on Labrie as well. I usually prefer listening to instrumental sections with Myung and Rudess/Petrucci solos... ;) Tool/Porcupine tree etc.. good stuff too.

Have you ever tried Trance and Progressive Trance. I truely love all electronic music but Trance has to be my favorite, i also find it great to ride park to

my favorites have to be Above & Beyond, Tritonal, and stoneface & terminal
