Music players better than iPod

Alright well i recently lost my ipod mini which isnt a big deal to me because i've had it for 2-3 years now...plus i was ran outta space on it andd it was being stupid turning off when there was plenty of battery...so its time for a new one but i dont think i necessarilly want another iPod....so I was wondering for any of you techies out there that know music/video players well...what are some alternatives that are maybe better than iPods...

PS i searched a couple times...couldnt find anything..sorry if i missed anything..

iPod is good i think but I haven't used a Zune. Look at the iPod vs. Zune thread, just search for Zune and you will find big threads with a bunch of responses both pros and cons
