Music play for skiing?????

I always used to use a ipod touch for skiing but after the past few seasons it just got destroyed from falling so much. The screens all cracked and stuff so it was a waste. I want something small and light. And also cheap so i don't have to worry about breaking it.

What music player should i get or use? What music players do you guys use and how are they?

I don't ski with music ever, but I'd say a shuffle would be your best bet. A shuffle is smaller so there's less to break and due to price they're arguably more expendable than your touch

This, but if u have a lot of music that the shuffle can handle in terms or memory, get an older nano(not the touch screen). I personally use an touch and it has never cracked on me while skiing. Guess i got lucky with mine(Mine is second gen).

I normally ski with my phone off but in my chest pocket, and its never cracked on me, where have you been keeping your iPod OP.

i used a 3rd gen shuffle for a while, it wasnt bad. all i had to do was setup a playlist just to make it easier to navigate through songs. I ended up giving it away to a fellow NSer i traded with.

I used my touch for awhile its just till i knuckled a railed then that was it. thats why i want something small like the shuffle or nano that i can just clip onto my goggles or my collar or something

I ride with a sixth gen nano, but only cos I got it free on a first gen recall. If I didn't have it I'd probably use a shuffle. The screen on the nano is quite difficult to see in the sun.
