Music Level in Ski Edits

Just curious what everyones opinion is on this? Are people fans of music playing over audio? or do you like to hear at least some of the audio from what you are watching?
 
For me at least..if you plan on using audio in your edit, you should always be putting it in for every shot unless youre out of earshot of the person youre filming. (tripod filming jumps from far away for example)

If you cut in and out it really takes away from the edit in my opinion. Same deal if you put audio in that sounds like your right by the skier but really youre far as fuck and wouldnt be able to pick anything up.

Im cool with no audio in edits too tho, just music is cool sometimes
 
My fav is a song that fits the "mood" of the edit, and sound from landings, takeoffs, rails, and all that shit! But like take the audio Level up when that shit happens, so we dont have to listen to enormous amounts of wind
