personally i think that hip-hop in ski videos is getting so played out. its so monotonous and boring. thats why level ones videos are good but not great

 
id have to agree partly with you, hip hop is sick and goes great with skiing just cuz it seems a lot of the culture is influenced by hip-hop. the vid my crew is putting together is almost all funk, it goes real well with the skiing. a lot more ski vids should diversify their music, but hip-hop is much better than it could be.

no, not yet, we just need a lot more footy so well probably have it done by end of 04.05 season. its gonna be like 60% funk 30% hip-hop 10% other stuff.

its not bad as long as they dont use the same bands over and over agin ie. swollen members iv def hear enogh of them as long as its some new hip hop group and it sounds somewhat dif its ok

rap and hip hop lay a nice beat and shit, and i like it along with a buncha others, chosing rock on the other hand is tougher, because some of the rock shit just doesnt go

I definitely agree with you, and the same goes for some punk songs too. I think that a lot of people are just afraid to try anything different in their movies. In particular I really liked the Yellow Snow trailers with the song Safety Dance in them, it was just really fresh and cool. For my segment from the last season I used Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Child, which went really well with my skiing.

i agree, the music needs to match the skiing, doesnt matter what music it is, as long as it fits.
