Muder in NH...this is fucked up

So this happened a few days ago in a town relatively close to me...I did a little search-barring but idk if this is a repost.
So from what I have learned about the story is that 4 high school aged guys entered an innocent home with the intention of killing anyone they saw inside. The murderers had no connection to the victims, only choosing their house because it was isolated. They broke in and killed a mother and seriously injured her 11-year old girl. The girl is in critical condition. The four are on trial now....
This is one of the most fucked up things i've seen...it seems like this could come out of a movie or something. What a fucked up world we live in.

And 2 of the kids are only getting Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary and Armed Robbery.....how the hell are they part of the manslaughter/murder charges?

they should be, they were there, that should be charged with murder one or manslaughter. they went into the house with the mind set or severley hurting or killing the individuals, atleast that what it seems like from the story posted, which falls under manslaughter.
 
americas judicial system is fucked. canadian citizens can spend 5 years in an american jail, while we press to give them life, and teens with nothing better to do then pick an isolated house, kill a mother, and attempt to kill an 11 year old girl will go to jail for probably the same amount of time.
 
this is fucked up, and not far from where i live at all. I know some kids that know the family affected, and may even know some kids that go to school with the murderers. fucked up shit
 
this happened a while back i remember. My aunt had some involvement in the case cause shes a vermont state police. 2 guys broke into a house pretending to sell magazines. little did the homeowners know that the kids had military knives in their bags. they killed everyone in the house if i remember correctly. so sad. ++Vibes for the girl
 
thats the definition of why people get the death penalty, thats some bull shit right there...
 
this is pretty close to where i live, its wierd because anyone in your neighboorhood could be a serial killer or criminal, everyone has the capacity. they gotta live somewhere, it sucks
 
Damn, some people are so fucked in the head. This is why the death sentence should be in place. They need to be shot.

THE MURDER WAS A MILE FROM MY HOUSE, I GO TO SCHOOL WITH TWO OF THESE KIDS. thier actions in no way reflect our community, this shit is fucked and alot people are pissed. and im getting attacked by news reporters on fb, because im in the same network as em. its one thing to see this stuff on the news, but when its apart of your life, its 100% different. honestly i never thought either of the kids from my school would have it in them to kill someone. .. just my thoughts.
 
i know one the accused personally and two of them go/went to my high school. from my understanding the initial intent was robbery but they knew that they were going to murder who ever was inside. this whole situation came as a shock to me. quinn, the one i know, is one of the nicest kids i know. he looks out for other people, he is caring regardless of whom the other person is. he is/was part of my church youth group. this past feburary i went on a service trip with him to D.C. I have been friends with him sicne kindergarden and he has some of the best parents i know. his dad helped coach my little league baseball team for like 8 years. no one saw this coming from this kid. im just shocked by this whole event.
 
I read about this today in the globe. One of the guys used a machete??? thats beyond awful. I'm in NH also, but don't live all that near this. Crazy how the past 2 posters have been so local. vibes to the family, in fact anyone involved
 
Wow...WTFI don't know how anyone could ever kill someone, do they actually think that they'd be able to get away with it without getting caught? Are people that stupid?
 
ok so maybe you can explain when 2 kids are only being charged with robbery? Sick bastards, I feel awful for the younger girl...really hope she make a recovery mentally/physically
 
people make me lose a little faith in humanity every time i see stuff like this... how do people like this live with themselves? because of these assholes that poor girl is in the hospital and without her mother... people are fucked up
