MTU Students

Former Tech student here, join the ski and snowboard club. It's how I met most of my friends. Also if you have it, wear ski branded clothing around campus and start a conversation with someone if they are wearing ski/snowboard brands.
 
Former student - Regularly skied with a bunch of park guys after class, those years were truly the best of times. Good on you for putting the effort in.

I met them all at Ripley/ski apparel on campus/Facebook groups and clubs.

However, half of my friends didn’t make it back the second year so take your classes seriously. Use the learning centers, study groups, Chegg, and don’t end up doing whippets at “Teeks” with the 7th years.

Yeah avoid tke's at all cost. They've got a few good guys. Hang out with them at other places besides tke's. Unfortanetly for OP he missed the great boathaus era

You mean like bridgehaus? The skater, skiing, and snowboarding house by the Yooper Loop?

Nah...sorta the same deal though. Pretty sure bridgehaus died my sophomore year. Boat was pretty much the same but our crew. A good portion of the eboard either lived there or partied there, or in my case live on the couch for a bit
