Mt. Timpanogos Snowfeild Trip Report

After skiing Alta on Monday I got a call from Alex Stoy who was planning on heading up to Timp Tuesday. I mulled it over for a few hours until I realized that I would reget it if I did not go.

Starting the long treck to the snowfeild.

Alex was all smiles on the way up.

Our first look at the objective for the day. Real fresh!!

Starting that last bit of skinning finaly on the snowfeild.

A few guys in our party wanted to scrambe up the ridge to get to the summit.

I decided to start skiing...

Alex ripping it up.. the snow was perfect boot to shin deep pow.

Four hours to the south ridge (just above the snowfeild). And only two hours down since we could ski about 1,000 v/f below the snowfeild.
