Mt Rushmore of Style

howdy gang,

curious to hear about your personal style heroes- since it is so hard to pick a single skier, here is my mt rushmore:

dave crichton - his early 2000s movie segments blew our minds. still some of my favorites to this day

tom wallisch - he really changed the game when it came to smooth landings. his bag of tricks was bananas too

dale talkington - dude just epitomizes style in my opinion. probably my top pick from a pure stylistic perspective

torin yater-wallace - these days he's like the dale of the backcountry. could watch him ski all day

Can we get another MT Rushmore ?️ ?️ ?️

Jake Carney, Tom Wallisch, Phil Casabon, ... fourth is tough so imma give a few , andy partridge, jake mageau, will wesson, will berman, idk.

Phil casabon

Alex Hall (ik,ik weird but he was what got me into the sport)

The one meth head at trollhaugen that is somehow good

Max Moffat (I like his weird ass flips)

I think this list has to be 4 guys with either very different styles or different areas of skiing

Id go with Jake Mageau, Andrew Pollard, Hunter Hess, and the 14 year old mogul skier i saw at Sun Valley that threw a cork 7 when everyone else in his division did backflips or 3s

Brogan, Mickael, carney, and Leigh powis

these two lists are based.

Its so hard just picking 4 cause it always feels like you snub someone.

Wallisch, Pollard, Delorme, Clayton Vila for me

Gotta give a shoutout to Max Hill though cause i still havent seen butters like his or tighter pants. Travis Heed an og as well

I was gonna say max hill but in terms of influence there have been maybe 5 dudes to ever rock skinny jeans and tight jackets so I left him off. If we are talking best styles ever I'd put Max Hill first though

But he's not even the best Swedish freeride skier! Double backflips are cool, but Turdell is overall a much better freeride skier

I disagree. Max has better line choices than Turdell, Max sends more and takes bigger risks, his skiing looks better overall and Max actually beated Turdell in SBMC. Max just needs more experience.

I love max hill with a burning passion

Jake Carney

Andy Partridge

Daniel Bacher

Kai Mahler

Torm, Oski, and Charlie Gnoza are up in there too.

Don’t get me wrong, the OG’s are sick in their own ways and definitely paved the way but the new gen can’t be touched in terms of style. The kits are better, the trick selection is better, and the overall swag is just unmatched these days imo

Jesus I wanna shoutout like 100 dudes rn theres so many killers out there

yeah dude obviously, but these are usually about the OG's. George Washington's dumbass probably couldn't operate a baretta but for his time he was like the best military commander in the nation and thats why he has his face on a rock

If we doing best of all time thats a way different question and I probably agree with who you listed
