Mt Ruapehu NZ Future Looking Bleak

They've had a bunch of issues. They thought they were going to open. Even posted about it yesterday, but not looking good with the latest news. Hoping something happens to keep good skiing on the north island.

Also been a tough start to the year for snow in NZ for sure. Hoping the cold temps come back in the next few days. We need to make some snow for sure.

I said it around this time last year, southern hemi skiing seems tough a lot of years. Only time I ever see real powder is Chile/Argentina resorts does New Zealand get much? Less resort infrastructure than northern hemi for sure. The New Zealand resorts seem like a vibe especially the park scene

Outside of the tropics the Southern Hemisphere is almost all ocean, the geography really isn’t right for it
