Mt. Kirby gets 5 inches of.....

Southern Ontario isn't a whole lot further north then the most northern part of Californa. Which isn't very far north at all.

Lake Ontario probably regulates temperature to some degrees and keeps it from dropping/rising too fast.

Low altitude doesn't help either.
 
yea also remember that it has to do with altitude mountains in colorado like loveland are already open but they are much further south than you
 
when i looked at the title i was like wtf snow in onterio no wayy then i open it and found out that it will never snow
