MT Hood

I was thinking of inviting some friends to go to Mt Hood around early june.. Anybody been up there in the spring/summer who can give a little info on where to stay, whats good, ect?

 
IF you stay down in Hood River its cheapest unless you can bum a place or some floor space off someone in govy. The hotels in govy are too damn expensive.. Hood rive is about a 35 min drive away

if you go late enough, the snow will melt and you can just pitch a tent. its one of the dopest camping spots ever, much better than spending money for a roof

 
i dont think you can stay in goverment camp, most of those are probably already reserved. hoodrive is quite a ways away too. there are probably some cheap places to stay a little closer to portland.

hood river is cheap.... but there is jack shit to do there at night... that is the only down side

hey i lost my virginity... did any of you guys find that by any chance?
