If I go to oregon and ski Hood, Should I go to timberline for the parks or Mt. Hood to ski. What is up wth hood parks. I need to know

Meadows is a ski area with two basic lodges and amenities. For skiing and terrain, choose this. Unless you are a pro park skier, the parks here will allow plenty of opportunity. The other-than-park terrain here, is vastly superior to Timberline.
If you ONLY ski park and are indifferent to powder days, choose this. And/or, if you are a tourist and are indifferent to the skiing aspect of the experience, tho is pefect for you!

Second: This is about skiing. It is unsure as to how summer would be assumed.

Timberline is small and does not have terrain. Their park has larger features than Meadows.
Meadows is vastly larger than Timberline.

If it is Mid May you might not have a choice. Meadows might not even be open in May. Sometimes they have weekend hours through Mother's day but not every year. Timberline has more terrain higher up (accessed by Palmer) so they will be running strong with winter operations through Memorial day. Also, yes the parks at Timberline are really sick and there is awesome natural terrain at Timberline too.

Magic Mile and Palmer are open all summer, typical summers by late july/august you can't lap the mile anymore because the snow melts out, on really bad years laps end in june, should be pretty normal this summer.
You said you wanted to go in may, so Timberline will be the resort you want to ski. The mountain is pretty weak, palmer will be open by then so you could go ski around up there, its decently steep, wide open glades, you can ski basically anywhere but I wouldn't recommend skiing to far away from the lift because you'll either get stuck in a crevasse or have to hike out of some canyon you wondered into.
The parks are usually pretty fun in May, last year Stormin' Norman was open til mid may, then they move the park up to the magic mile for the summer. No idea what it will be like this year, but its always a great time at Hood.
If you really want to ski all mountain and park in may, I would highly recommend going to Mammoth this year. They will likely have top to bottom skiing until july, hearing rumors they will be open til august this year. Nothing better than spring/summer gondola laps at Mammoth.
