Tamanawa falls, low traffic easy 35 min hike to it. would reccomend

Take a tour of ON3P factory if you make it down to Portland(set up an appointment).......... also while in Portland you will be in the strip club capital!
ZigZag Canyon, Tamanawas Falls, Cooper Spur are a few I recommend. Down lower there are the popular Multnomah Falls but it has been limited on hiking since the fire back in 2017.

Smoke some joints and watch the sunset over mt hood at trillium lake or lost lake, both awesome places to kick it for the evening.
Castle canyon is an awesome hike, there’s some spots where you absolutely can’t slip so be careful but the views are awesome.
Government camp is a cool little town too.
Little Hawaii in rhododendron is awesome swimming hole and hike.
If you’re into cliff jumping check our punch bowl falls.

[tag=146110]@Chubz.[/tag] has some good ideas. If you have the time, go drive the coast, check out Tillamook, Cannon Beach, Astoria(where they filmed parts of the Goonies movie) go across the bridge to Long Beach, WA and you can drive out on the sand to the water in your car(You can do all of this in a day from Mt Hood, but it would be a long day). Or you can just stick around Portland(hour away from Hood), it is a cool city, there are reasons it draws all the weirdness.lol

Do you know exactly what part of the coast you are going to? Cannon beach has a few campgrounds around the area but they are pay to stay, average $40/night, yes even tent camping but you usually have running water and showers with them. You will probably want to reserve a spot if you want to do this, believe me, it is busy this time of year. If you want to camp close to the ocean, I would recommend going up into Washington(about an hour from Cannon) by Long Beach and you can find some areas there.
