Wanted to throw this up here. Getting alot of views on the newschoolers player, but it really ruins the quality. Also if any of you film guys wanna give me some pointers for next time i would greatly appreciate it. One thing i have not messed with is color grading, so if anyone has advice on what i could have done to these shots, that would be great.

i think it turned out sick. ive watched it like 7 times in a row now. it makes me so stoked to get out there and try some of those tricks

-shot at 0:10 is a little underexposed. the whites need to pop a little more

-00:16 is a really sick establishing shot

-was a little strange at 00:21 how it went from ian, to the peak, back to ian. i would have done peak, then ian's face, then ian's trick.

-you cut on the second beat at 00:24, i probably would have cut on the first. nice juxtaposition of angles though! you did a good job with double angles throughout the edit

-on the whole i was really impressed by the filming, you did a solid job mixing up angles.

 
thanks man! appreciate it. How do I avoid making it auto play? And yeah now that I think about it Im not sure why i put the peak shot in between Ians face and the first trick. makes alot of sense your way now that I think about it!
 
I'm not very knowledgeable about filming, but in my opinion that was awesome great vibe, and not repetitive!

when you click embed on vimeo, it brings up that window with the embed code. i think you can click on something that says 'customize embed options' or something like that, and you will see that auto-play is automatically checked. just uncheck it before copying your embed code and you'll be good
