had anyone gone there yet? its in upper michigan and its pretrty big 900 feet. but its got like crazy tree runs and cliffs and shit. go to the website www.mtbohemia.com to see pics im to retarded to link the pics.

In a snowboarder magazine this year they did a big feature on mt. bohemia. It looks pretty crazy-most verticle in the midwest, 270 inches of snow, and great (and steep) tree skiing. There's a pic in the magazine of some guy dropping a 35 foot cliff-in bounds. Also a 75 foot drop in the the backcountry. I haven't been there yet, due to the fact that i'm the only one in my family who likes to ski steep stuff and willing to drive all the way up there.

900 verticle feet is big for the midwest, the place closest to me is around 300, a far cry from the 3,000 or whatever you have at mammoth.

There is also a great article in Skiing magazine about it. 900 feet is fucking massive for the midwest. The biggest mountain near me is like 400ft, and thats like the biggest hill in WI.

ROB where are you from? yeah i also heard about that huge cliff out of bounds. but in the trees i heard tere are tons of like 20-30 foot drops which is prettyt crazy for midwest. last year according to their webiste they got more snow than sun vally and aspen and a bunch of other places. I wish it wasnt so far away tho

i live in stillwater, which is just north of the twin cities. and yeah it's a ways up into the UP.
