Mt Baldy

Skied baldy Thursday.

No park and definitely not a corporate ski area with 1950s lifts, but there are fun runs there and people a friendly. Way more low they then bear reminds me of Midwest skiing.

some light cover, you can tell this place is heavily snowboard infested with deep snowboard scars in the snow. Snowboarders are way more considerate then at Bear, Snow Summit at least.

Will be back later in the season when there’s more snow and all the runs are open.

Yeah, last Thursday was not powdery but still good. Went again Saturday and it was super hard and not groomed.

Not busy there at all, maybe because of no park. I’ll be back when there’s more snow and more runs open.

Still pretty lit for what it is.

If you just want to get laps in without the BS and crowds you get at big bear, this is the place. Kinda has a old school vibe that reminds me of Alta.

A lot of runs were closed because of no snow but will come back when there’s more pow.

I usually hit mthigh for nights, never had great skiing at baldy tbh, but I’ve never been right after a good storm

If you just want to get laps in without the BS and crowds you get at big bear, this is the place. Kinda has a old school vibe that reminds me of Alta.
