No, Mt. Baldy in California. It's 40 miles from Pasadena. Supposed to be the steepest terrain in Southern Cal, just wondered if anyone's actually been there...

yeah that place is sick. old lifts, crappy maintainance with only beer and hot chocolate in the lodge. definetly hit that shit though after a 2 foot+ snowfall. it has tons of unique terrain including a twisted canyon down to the base with a bunch of clean little 10-15 foot rock drops.

No one ever skis Mt. Baldy any more because SoCal doesn't get enough natural snow anymore. Maybe once in a while you'll hear about some guys hiking up and hitting it when there's a 2 inch snow fall but otherwise it's dead. Baldy doesn't have any snow guns so they can't make snow. I talked to the sons of the owner of Baldy and they don't even ski there anymore. They head over to Mt. High.
