Mt. Baker is getting 8-10 feet of snow

jesus everyone has been posting this on facebook and no one seems to realize that its the forecast for the peak of baker, 10,000 feet. unless someones planning on doing some serious gnar mountaineering no one is gonna be able to take advantage of that snow. still, will be nice to look at them snow capped mountains
 
Season starter for the snowiest mountain in America! Yes that is there am (10,000') forecast, but still calls for up to 5 feet at 5200'! Bring in winter!
 
I've seen this going around all day. You people are fucking idiots. That forecast is at 10,000 feet. So if you wanna skin in a blizzard then there will be snow for you. But the actual resort won't get snow for a month or so...Look and think before you post.
 
Chill out there ! No need for name calling ! Most here understand the elevation level, it's just our excitement for the coming if winter and monster storms!
 
does anyone know if it would be hard to hike up this weekend and find the snow line and make a kicker? Would this be a fat treck, or not that bigga deal to hike?
