how is Mt. Ashland? park wise trails, general info? never been and going this weekend, I know there are better resorts around but we r doing a day trip from coastal nor cal.

Mt. Ashland is my home mountain. Not gonna lie, our park sucks a fat dick right now. We only have a small rail, a small jump and a small box. Overall though the mountain is pretty good. Lots of steeps and cliffs if that's what you're into. Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions.

I've been living in ashland for 2 years. The mountain has some of the best lift accessed terrain in oregon, as short as it tends to be... The conditions right now are not ultra prime, but it's still fun. Good fast fun steep groomers, some gnarchuck bumps here and there if you want to get tired, and yeah... the 'park' is downright laughable, unfortunately.
Either way, it's currently not much better anywhere else south of Mt. Bachelor snow conditions-wise. The only thing you'd get better at other resorts like Shasta or Tahoe right now is a more serviceable park with real features.
