o hi. I decided to make a new thread for everything/anything us Montanan's wanna talk about. We ended up taking over Dingo's thread simply asking for help and made it into a crazy debate. haha.

Alright so, let discuss the winter before us. The glorious season that will come soon enough. The love of skiing which we all share. Or, I guess we could debate about random stuff as well.

I just sold my DVX and am getting a new camera fairly soon. Stoked on doing some filming as well as just plain being on snow again. Stoked for the first few weekends where we always seem to have some good pow. Hoping to make some trips around MT and down to UT. All around ready for the season.
 
not sure. depends which weekend the GF ends up coming up to visit.

nother question bout that. is it cool if you just want to shred, but suck and have no chance of winning the comp? lol

wow and slightly off topic, but anyone know if that on campus railjam is happening at MSU again? i had a damn good time last time.
 
Do they have a flat rail? Because the only pictures I have seen are of that wooden downrail and that thing looks scary.

There are two stair sets, they both have a handrail on the right side and a box on the left, the first one is short, the second one is longer. There are also two flat picnic tables and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they added more features over the summer, they always seem to.
 
yeah the first one is real mellow. its not a huge jump on. the second one isnt THAT scary, but you definitely need to have some pop to get up there.

thats from last years. thats all on the bigger one too. the smaller ones a bit mellower. shorter and less of a jump on if i remember correctly
 
by far the funnest rail jam of the year, tates was pretty fuking fun in bozo lastyear tho i had a great time in that
 
wasnt switch 4 it was lip 4. he did lip 4 pretzel 2 if i remember correctly. fucking ridiculous.
 
i think it was 4 on 2 off and he also did 2 on pretzel 2 off, but regardless, tim destroyed it last year. i'm excited for this year
 
are you still rocking the same pants this year? lol cuz if you are, were gonna be matching haha, i got those pants for hella cheap this summer.

alex and luke and I have a little summer set up going.. it aint pretty, but its real fun. i dont konw when were going to set it up next but im sure some fellow ns'ers would be welcome to join sometime..
 
I made it to December 25h two years ago and January 5th last year...here's to shooting for February before knee surgery this year!
 
Woke up this morning and saw snow! My summer depression is officially over and cannot to start skiing. Today was a good day.
 
Do not speak about Refresh...I got there around 10-15min after 7 and they said the place was full...I died a little inside.
 
refresh was great, wasn't super impressed with so far so hood, and marines should never host a ski premiere. good night though! stoked on luke's and parker's shots.
 
truth. and i think so far so hood will be better on a less shitty projector. that projector was awful
