So I am totally taking Kev-Kev.'s idea here, but I filled out my application on Sunday and got my acceptance letter on Thursday. I am 90% sure that I will be going here, and I've already got a roommate figured out.

Who else is applying for next fall (2013)?
 
I got accepted the other day but I'm trying to choose between MSU, Western State, and a school in Hawaii. I visited the area a couple years ago but didn't really get to look at the school very much so I'm hoping to get out there soon.

the obvious choice is Bozeman! :)
 
possibly going to MSU! got accepted today into the college of arts and architecture. Thinking about applying to the honors program but not sure whether it is worth it..
 
Got accepted because it's easy as all get out for any Montanans to get into. But there is a real good chance I'm staying here in old bozo.
 
i am tempted to make an NSG thread for this. get more people to reply... im from maine and am seriously considering going to msu and would want to meet some nsers and possibly find a roomate before making the trip.

 
^ yup I have thought the same thing. I am also in need of a roommate if I do end up going. I should know whether I am or not within the month.
 
Ill go ahead and make one then! i feel as tho there are enough nsers going to msu to make it thread worthy. ill be sure to mention ya.

 
Just accepted my WUE and payed for and finished my housing app. I have my friend as an "accepted roommate" does that mean we will room together for sure?? Also we signed up for Roskie as first choice and Freshman apts. for our second choice so what is the likelihood we will get in to Roskie or the apts?? And when should I expect to hear back about rooms?? Sorry for all the questions but I am excited and want to know what's up.
 
I don't smoke but what i learned living in the dorms ozium and smoke in fornt of a fan.Basically dont be an idiot and you'll be fine.

But if you do get caught they call the cops now be aware of that.
 
they sell smoke buddies in the pipe shop across the street from roskie. buy one of those for 15 bucks and you're set.
 
Ahh I just saw one of those in my local shop and was curious if it actually worked. Do they sell decent glass anywhere in Bozeman??
 
im committed to msu. and on the subject of weed i have my card for a brain tumor i had and im coming from norcal soooo im looking to smoke and ski a lot. if you wanna smoke a lot with me hmu=)
 
yeah i generally buy at a shop called mellow mood and they have some really nice local glass.
 
yeah theres a few in town but recent legislation has caused a majority of them to close down. but bud really isn't hard to find in bozeman.
 
Yeah but is it quality?? And also does anyone hit up the dab scene in MT?! As in can I obtain and dab BHO in Bozeman on the regular?
 
dabs are here but not super common. I can't speak for the college, but people literally will come up to you on main street looking for bud. And as far as quality is concerned, since we have a lot of dispencaries and local growers it's generally really good bud, better than anything I've gotten anywhere else.
 
On the housing app what did all the weed only smokers put for smoking? I dont want to say Smoker because fuck cigs...

Word. we kinda figured they wouldnt be asking what your tolerance to illegal activity would be haha.

Quality bud is not hard to find, you may not have the selection that you could get in colorado or washington but good hook ups usually have 2 or 3 medical strains to choose from. Dabs are common in Roskie, I don't know about in other dorms, but good oil is usually brought in from elsewhere so it can occasionally be hard to find. Lots of people have rigs too if you don't.

Smoking in the dorms is honestly not an issue as long as you're not stupid about it. I'm blazing a bowl with my roommate as I write this. Towel door + fan at window + smoke buddy + spray+ keep it semi quite and you'll never get caught, anymore I just crack the window and turn on my fan.
 
does it really matter what floor you are on in roskie? I got 2nd and I'm kinda sketched about the smell outside since I'll be shmokin. Anyone know if there's a way to change it?
 
I thought Roskie alternated boy girl floors? Cuz I'm in 3rd and others in 5th so wouldn't 2nd and 4th be girl floors??
