I am just finishing up my Montana State Application but I am having troubles with the essay. It asks what is my biggest factor in wanting to go there. I know I want to go for the great Biology and Ecology system, skiing, and just overall the environment. There is so much to do besides going to school. But my problem is that I feel like this is what every other applicant is saying. Is there anything I can include that will make me stand out? I don't want it to sound like I'm moving there to ski
 
Just make up some bullshit story. Say your ancestors were natives to the region and you want to get in touch with their souls through education and a higher power, or something.
 
They accept like 90% of people, if your decently bright you'd probably get in if you didn't write anything in that box
 
it is not hard at all to get in MSU as long as you got an act score above 15 i think youll be fine, write whatever the fuck you want.
 
Yea I wouldn't worry about getting accepted. Just say you wanna go because of their awesome (insert major here) program
 
MSU is one of the most elite universities in the great state of montana. Their selection process is rigorous and they will accept only the brightest to be the next generation of burger flippers.
 
it doesn't really matter they know that a lot of people choose here over other universities mainly because of where it is and how much there is to do in the outdoors. if you have decent test scores you'll be good there are a lot of smart people and a lot of dumb people so if they can get in i'm assuming you can
 
Write something about wanting to walk into a frat house and see a frozen cat in a punch bowl, they'll let you in for sure.

This is probably way too much of an inside joke for the internet. I'm realizing that now but I don't care.
 
Yea they accept anyone...but that's the great thing about it! The area is dope and the EE program is the best in the nation for sure.

But seriously, I wanted to come here because it was beautiful, the town attracted me, and it felt like I could be a part of the community. If you write an honest essay, you'll be fine.

I honestly didn't think essays were required to go here. I never had to write one...
