look there will be some amzing footage, but nothing really original or creative. And alot of the guys in tht movie will have better sections in other movies. I would get this movie if i had already gotten a bunch of others first, but most of the other movies will be better. and nobodys even seen shanghai six yet so Hit list is not one of the top movies i want to get this year.

that movie looks good to me, come sick cinematography, sick cliff drops, steep lines, sick pow, and some park stuff. Last time i looked "skiing" actually involved making turns and not sliding ur skis and having the hunched over "steeze style." Skiing doesn't revolve around the terrain park. MSP shows all different parts of freeskiing.

But i hope there is little to NO SKI BASE JUMPING. Way played out now. Yearbook finished it for me.

I think that MSP has enough history at this point in their game to not be considered a "newschool" studio. So what is your on goin concern....do you get all riled up at Warren Miller openings? Do you go to the local video store and rub magnets on old Greg Stump flicks?

I'm sure it would have come around by now, but Warren Miller, Stump, all the older crews are the pioneers of 'action sport' films, and deserve a bit of respect. These guys created what the industry is today. If you want to stay 'underground' go ahead, but don't complain when your favourite video looks like it was shot on your daddy's handy cam from the early nineties.

You might not like their films, but you have to respect their talent, and original foresight.

 
They have the best teaser and the best line up of athletes and the best camera work. I will be going to the premuir and will be buying a copy.

A few of you have tried so hard to spread your hate for MSP. Take a look at what your really spending your time doing. It's becoming so fucking repetitive. Do you really care this much about hating MSP? You seem to know ALL THE FACTS but are going about it the wrong way to ever make a difference. THis approach is starting to work against you. They are probably benifiting from this in some way.

Its benefiting them because I'm sick of seeing Berman and Levin promote this anti-MSP shit. It doesn't make me want to buy L1P or PBP films. Maybe I will spend my money elsewhere, perhaps an MSP title.

Although they come out the dvd for sale following year, wouldn't Warren Miller outsell them? Just think of their mass appeal and worldwide distributing deal through SONY.

 
I mean seriously.. there's not that much money in this industry for a lot of people to make a living... there are obvious exceptions. But, companies like MSP are helping friends and keep guys in the scene even though perhaps they don't 'deserve' it (from what I see)... and when 'careers' are so short lived, who can blame them? There's always going to be a 14 year old who can do more, but do they deserve more respect?

I mean christ, johnny mosely looks like he's doing the same with this Icer air (the lineup does look like it's from 2001).
