Has anybody been to see an MSP show this fall? I'm going to the one in NYC next week and just wondering what athletes are on tour, what kind of giveaways they got, etc.
i was at a push premiere a week ago. there werent any athletes or anything. the movie is pretty much the same thing as all other MSP movies... all slow-mo, lots og big mountain, athlete commentary, o.k music... pretty much all the good shots were in the trailer. i think it gets better towards the end.
I think it was one of the better movies this year, but I'm not much of a park skier. If you want to see some huge lines and big cliffs go see it, but if you're a park rat or you're on the "I hate MSP" bandwagon I would not suggest it. Hugo Harrison was at the premier in Bozeman and he seemed like a pretty cool guy.
the whole idea behind Push is about how the skiers are "pushing" the limits nowadays going BIG and falling BIG. I thought it was a fantastic concept but I'm also a back country skier so I didn't mind that it only had dumont in it riding pipe
I went to the Premiere in Boston yesterday and it was sick. The intro (apart from the stupid part with the kid on the bike) was unreal. Everyone had fanstastic segments. It may be the best MSP film yet. Dumont, Sarah, Ingrid, and Abma were at the premiere.
anyone seen pull? Cuase i bought hitlist last year and the hit list remix was wayyy sicker than just the regular. I bet Pull is dope. But yeah... Its very MSP and i thought it wasnot very exciting except for Sammy's part. Ofcourse.
i went to the one in boston and at the red hook in nh. i loved the movie. and pull was even better! there were sick atheltes there, and it was so much fun, untill the tent at the red hook came down....but then we got to watch it at a bar while drinking free vodka and red bull!!! so many good falls, and rory jumping of bridges...and sammys backflips off those little jumps!!!! wilsons double back off the cliff!!
