MSP + POW = ?

Friends,
My buddies and I are heading to Colorado this March. I've got a pair of '08 4frnt MSPs, but I'm not sure how they handle in deeper snow, as I'm a New Englander. Has anyone used them in softer snow before? Thoughts? I appreciate anything you've got.
(btw, I searchbarred, and didn't get much, a lot of it was about Matchstick...)
Thanks yo.

You'll be fine. It's an all around ski so they won't be anything incredible, but they aren't going to explode if they touch powder.

They are narrow for a modern pow ski, but who cares. 97(?)mm underfoot is still very wide, up until a few years ago it would have been considered a big mountain ski. I lived in Tahoe for 5 years, left in 2004 to go to grad school. My fat ski, which I skied almost everyday, even when it was icy, was a volkl explosive. It was 95mm underfoot, which did not prevent me from hauling, making huge turns in pow. My current fat ski is a 4frnt EHP, which is certainly better, but 95mm underfoot is fine for pow.

Thanks man, that's helpful.
Anyone have thoughts about mounting? Is the fact that they flex like 2x4's a problem?
