MSP + POW = ? (From G.T.)

I posted this in Gear Talk, but it wasn't getting much action, so Im going to copy and paste it here:
My buddies and I are heading to Colorado this March. I've got a pair of '08 4frnt MSPs, but I'm not sure how they handle in deeper snow, as I'm a New Englander. Has anyone used them in softer snow before? Thoughts? I appreciate anything you've got.
(btw, I searchbarred, and didn't get much, a lot of it was about Matchstick...)

I rode the same year and same model last year. I rode them in pow once and they seemed good, but being from So Cal I dont have a huge amount of pow experience so I wouldnt be able to compare.
 
yeah I know, but I was thinking about a possible re-mount if need be, and I'd want to do that asap to get some time on them in December.
