The movie that got me into freeskiing. Young me thought Mosely, raps, mcconkey and Morrison were gods. Doesn't get any better than Shane jumping off the snowmobile.

Yeah it was my first time seeing this movie and alot of the stuff was so insane, even to today's standards and Mcconkey's part was just gnar!
 
I always wanted to see ski movie 1. I still have and watch regualrly ski movie 2: high Society and ski movie 3: the front line.
 
First ski movie I bought.

The Raps/Skogen part is still one of my favourite of all time

Also, easily one of my favourite JP segments. Those backflip mute grab roof gaps in the alps...

lots of great stuff in this movie but what i remember the most are the insanely brutal snowmobile falls. yeah i know, the fire one is a dummy, but there are at least 2 others i remember where the dude gets straight up run over by his sled. fuck that

I ski around the world, but the west coast is where I'm from.

Oh man. I remembered it being bad, but it's so, so much worse.
