I went and saw Days of My Youth last night at Boulder theater. Super sick movie, awesome fun/progression vibe. I don't want to give much away, but I will say that the big mountain parts were insane.

Did anyone else go? What did you think?

For those of you who haven't seen it, is this a movie on your must see list? Why or why not?

P.S.A. Please don't give too much away and spoil it for the people who haven't seen it.

Was at the late show, half the lower level was reserved for VIP which wasn't so cool but understandable given the local talent. MSP has been more impressive, that's forsure. No Whistler jump session :( but definitely got me stoked for the season! Like mentioned the vibe is all about having fun messin around with your buddies

8/10 might buy

I didn't like it as much as I wanted to. Most of the middle of the movie just wasn't great. I would probably still recommend buying it though because it also contains some of the craziest big mountain skiing I've ever seen.

Does it have those boring MSP segments in there about the history of the ski town or about how one of the athletes has inside jokes? I think I know exactly what you're talkin about.

They cut all the Megaslope 2013 footage that featured heavily in the trailer. They also didn't choose to show the most technical tricks

For example, Bobby did a nice sw double misty 14 at the breck jump they filmed in May (btw i counted 2 dubs only in the whole movie). The red bull edit has it but they cut it from the movie in favour of a slightly better shot of a 12. Too much focus was on the filming and it came at the expense of some of the skiing

The cut the Megaslope stuff included at least a triple from Bobby and a nosebutter dub from Russ Henshaw, who ended up cut entirely despite being in the credits on the trailer

Some of those chutes were sick but it lacked variety, even by msp standards

Supervention remains the best balance of the modern movies (since EDIAS)
