well i just wanted to say thanks again for all of you guys that showed up, it went off for sure. Everyone was killin it. If anyone has any minidv footage of the event that they would be willing to part ways with for about a week to help me out with with DVD i'm gonna work on mixing up please let me know and I'll get a hold of you. Otherwise what did you guys think?

Props again for all of you showing up and rocking it so hard in the near zero temps.

I think the whole event went really good it was so planned out. Madd Props to paul and his staff for that. all I can say is that big air was huge that was so much fun watching that so glad I made the trip up and competed and everything else.

It seemes really well oraganzied this year as far as judging and timing but the course needed some work. I think the slopestlye needed to have the more difficult rails at the top. The halfpipe idea was cool but a pipe wit 5 foot icy walls just made everyone look bad. The jumps for slopestyle where way to small. Big air setup was sick but once again you just need a bigger jump I thinkthe small jump size really eliminated a lot of people early on because so one could land a big trick with that little amount of air. With all that said I was impressed with how somoothly the weeknd went. it was well organized

 
Prins, it was off the hook. I think it was set up a lot better than last year. A lot more organized. Mad props to everyone who set it up. Thanks. Can't wait till next year.

I agree about the setup. I think if you really had to have a half-pipe portion, use the big pipe, let them hit the two big tables in the middle, and then re-arrange the lower rail section before the money booter. Having such a small (and from what I heard, crappily-cut) pipe really hurt a lot of people. I know people who can throw rodeo 5s, flair to unnatty flair, etc in a full-size pipe, but that little thing doesn't give nearly enough air. People really only got to do one big trick, off the top table... considering it was only what, like a 15-footer, people were going off. You would have seen a lot of bigger tricks if you would have allowed bigger terrain.

That said, it's sick to even HAVE a comp like that. Next year, just let the skiers go big. If you set up a big park, you're gonna see pro-quality shit go down, and your event will gain a lot more credibility.

all the comments about the course are taken into consideration, we will basicly have a major hand in the park design next year and will have bigger jumps, better rails and a bigger/better pipe.

 
I started to offline my footage today the stuff I have from big air is really sick the two cameras really helped not sure how sloopestyle will turn out though but time will tell.
