MRM Jumps!!!!

Every resort should have jumps like these. Each jump is made extremely well. They are made so well that you can trick all three without having to worry about speed. The second jump right now is the best jump in OHIO!!!! Thanks again for another great day MRM. Hope that jump is in the slopestyle this weekend.

Skeptical? Well, I was there last week and i have never had that much fun jumping in the midwest. The second jump is true 35 footer (This was not measured by some dumb ass kid either) to the knuckle with a matching landing (steep and proper). the third you can just flow into and go really deep (The deck could actually be pushed back another 7-10 feet, more stepover/ true table b/c you have enough speed to make a another solid 30-35 foot jump (Oh, and it also has the perfect side tranny on it too, if you feel like going huge off the side.) I was meaning to make thread about this because i have never been more excited hitting a jump in the midwest. Great Job CP and MRM!

Come on Billups! really!?!

"..judging by the other jumps that have been built there this year"

This year has been one of the warmest on record. No one has snow. I think the CP crew has done an awesome job this year given the conditions. The park is consistently getting better and being reshaped.

The jumps are hands down the best they've been this year. Come up this weekend for our slopestyle and check out the park; but keep in mind that it poured down rain yesterday and will be 50 degrees today.

I'd like to think Freddy B from Boston Mills is a creditable source - ask him about the jumps. He was there with Mitty on Monday.

Peace!!

one of the best times i have had in the midwest! it was like a normal day at PC. jump two was worth the ticket alone.

capital is killing it right now, id go so far as to say the jumps last week were the best i have ever seen them in the 3 seasons ive been going there. im sure once the rain moves through they will be back in prime condition again. until then im gonna go have fun on the 25 jibs that are available. see you all at slopestyle!!

I agree the jump line is the best that MRM has had since ive been riding there. Jump 2 is bigger than either of the jumps they built for big air this year. Hopefully they will stay this big for slopestyle.

There is no need to be skeptical... I have been fortunite enough to have been able to travel a lot this winter and hit some really good jumps. I would have to say mad river jump is not quite a park city jump, but that is not really fair to even compare MRM to PC. but i think MRM jumps are just as good if not better than MT Snow or Okemos jumps. I have yet to have a blue bird day on MRM jumps, but every time i learn so much. You can do basically every trick you want.

Overall MRM is on point with there jumps and the rest of the park this season. If i had a choice to ride a park in VT or ride MRM, i truely would consider stay in ohio because the jumps are that good!!! now only if BMBW could be at least one good jump!!!

Is this said jump?

I went to MRM for the first time yesterday. Besides the morning rain it was great. The whole park lived up to the hype, rails set up perfect and the jumps were incredible. Can't imagine what they'd be like with better conditions.

I was asking a simple question there will...hard to judge a jump off of nothing but internet hype. From your video it looks like a pretty decent little jump. 35 feet might be pushing it though.

Capital Park always has there stuff on point. They really improve every year from what I've seen or when I was around there. On a side note: That's a pretty boss camera you got there Willy G!

I would say the only way it wouldnt be reasonable for MRM to build a jump or 2 like PC is because the guys driving the cats dont know how to build a jump like that other than that they have no reason as well as every other park in te country

I completely disagree with your comment. Resorts like PC have much more acreage and can accommodate several parks with all levels of difficulty.

Smaller midwest ski areas have limited space for a terrain park and need to build a jump line that everyone can hit not the top tier of riders. The builder for 'The Program' at Peak Resorts is fully capable of building Keystone style jumps; however, thats not the overall goal for their park jumps.

The said cat driver is actually rebuilding the jump line at MRM today. Come this weekend for the slope style and check out the park!

Peace!

slopestyle setup looking super fun. flat double barrel or flat box to 3 jumps line with his and hers takeoffs to dfd single barrel or fd box

all you have to do to accomodate all riders and abilities is make multiple lips on the said jumpline two lips per jump isnt to hard to do
