wondering if any threads have experience with this

basically want to start home brewing, trying to be low cost

i don't remember the name of the kit that I bought, but it was about 50 bucks and makes 5 gallons per batch. I made a wort chiller at the hardware store for less than 10 bucks. so you can get started with the basics for relatively cheap. the kits for each batch range from 35-50 at my local home brew/wine store.

shit's dope. love brewing. just finished a banger oatmeal stout.
 
mr. beer kits are a good way to get into homebrewing because they are super easy and affordable. However, if you plan on brewing more than like 10 gallons a year it would be worth it to invest in one of those cheap 5 gal starter kits. check out midwestsupplies.com or better yet support your local homebrew store. they will be super helpful and stoked to answer questions for a beginner.
