Moxie?

My whole life, aka the past like 10 years Ive ran into the situation whilst vacationing in maine.. where somone would be like "You should drink some Moxie" and then somone else would be like "Ewwwww, No wayyyyyyyyy"

So 2 summers ago i sacked up and tried it.. ehhh, weird as fuck.

Anyone else have moxie?
 
Yeah, I tried some of that this summer. Everyone kept going on about how awesome/hardcore/whatever it was, so I kinda had to see.

I thought it tasted sort-of like medicine or something, weird stuff.
 
i drink moxie often, its like a hardcore doctor pepper.

a guy i met who trailruns for the Maine Appalacian Trail ( he maintains the trail, ie hikes fucking mountains for a living) and he starts every morning with a M and M. thats 2/3 whole milk, 1/3 moxie and a little vodka. thats a man doing a man's job, drinking a mans beverage.

 
its drinkable...you just have to drink it really fast to try to avoid some of the terrible aftertaste.
 
i got some at a pizza place in new hampshire while visiting some friends from school and they looked at me like WTF?!?

then they remembered i live in maine.

it pretty good (to me, been drinking it for years) but definitely not my number one choice for soda. just on random occasions when i see it
