Hey Guys,

Sorry for many Utah Noob questions, but well, here they are.

I just graduated college and I'm thinking about hitting Park City next winter so that I can ride and do some professional networking during Sundance.

The only resort I've been to in the area is Park City, and I was wondering if that's the best option or if you guys would recommend any of the other resorts nearby. I'm more into steep/trees skiing than park if that helps.

Do any of you work at the resorts? Or do you work nearby? I'm PSIA Level 1, so could maybe get a job instructing, but would maybe prefer an evening job instead...

What do you guys pay in rent?

Anyone need a roommate haha?

if you're more into steep/trees and stuff than park, you'd definitely want to look more into the Cottonwoods than PC (Alta,Snowbird, Solitude etc.)

Definitely look at the cottonwoods, not PC/Canyons for what youre wanting to do. I would also recommend living in SL, it may not be quite as "skier friendly" but youre closer to ALL the resorts and rent will be much cheaper. Itd be a long drive to go from PC to snowbird/alta. live at the base of one of the canyons (33rd south to 65th south) if its possible, such a prime area

I moved here last winter and now im here for good. Finding work is easy, i personally dont recommend working at the resorts just because they whore you out for minimum wage (BETTER, MORE PERMANENT JOBS AROUND) and it can get pretty sketchy driving into the canyons everyday. I work for the state and have as much fun at work as i do out on the slopes.
