Moving to Tahoe

I just landed a job at Nstar and moving there from Michigan, so can anybody tell me a decent place to live in Tahoe/Reno, that is cheap but not some shithole apt? Actual apt names would be nice guys, thanks!
 
umm...reno is a shithole, I live here.lol. actually if you want to find a place in truckee tahoe you could probably find a place for the same price. Hit up CalskierX on NS. Nicks the man to talk to. Jea JEa
 
reno's not a shit. There are parts that are for sure, but not the entire area. Give us more sepcifics. Are you going to school at all? do you want to be close to parties and casinos? how much you looking to spend? all that makes a big difference
 
My boyfriend used to live in King's Beach, talk to him (calskierX, dkrew13 already mentioned him), he would know where to live and such.
 
Ya I was kidding about reno being a total shithole cuz I live here, I actually live in mogul which is just outside reno torwards tahoe, it takes me 30min to get to AM, and I pay 300 a month. But you probably dont want to be in some of the downtown sections. Other than the random trailer parks off of keystone exit, Reno is pretty good. theres quite a few nice places. And dont move to Sparks. Talk to 720 even though hes a gaper nEWB!!!
 
What do you consider cheap? And are you moving out here solo, because finding a cheap place w/o roomates is near impossible
 
my old place is up for rent, small as fuick but right on the beach and close to norfstar. its right next to steamers in KB i dont have then nuimber anymore but uhh try to find a bryant or linay laferrier ( spelling ) to get in the place or go to alpine and ask for them at the ICe bar, they are the owners and you can get there number.
 
How'd you find that place? Best location close to Reno if you frequent the I-80 resorts.

Well, you see, DL. when you have D-Crew steez, you just have ways with things, and you just be like JEA JEA, and like uUUUNNNNNNH, jea, and then the next thing you know it b like you happend to know some peoples, who knows some peoples, who robbed some peoples and you livein in style. by the way an insider in ungnar crew told me that the N in ungnar stands for NEWB!!!
 
I won't be going to school right off the bat because I won't be a resident yet, so I would like to live close to North*, but also by the parties and the smoke. I am really not familiar with the cost of living out there, but I thought that living in tahoe was alot more expensive than reno. I appreciate all the help and advice, keep it coming! Are there any of fellow N* employees around here? I will be starting at the end of may. Thanks again
