hey moving to steamboat for spring semester at CMC whats the deal for season passes and if you work for the mountain can't you ski at a lot of other places as well? thanks

Ok. Standard college pass will run you 700 bucks.
Employee pass is obviously free, and gets you crazy hookups. Off the top of the head, major places I can remember that you get to ski at for free (in CO) are all 4 aspen mountains, crested butte,.......almost every place in co except for vail resorts (vail,breck,etc) You get a shit-ton of in-town discounts if you work for the mountain.....etc. It's pretty sweet.
