Moving to South Lake Tahoe

So it looks like i'll be spending the summer in SLT, should be a pretty good time. I've spent a good amount of time in the area during the winter but I am curious about the summer time. Is there any good rock climbing? Other summer activities? Fill me in !

my favorite route on donnor is school house. its just fun.

You can go boating, kayaking, rock jumping, river rafting, SLT night life is pretty awesome aswell!

great guide books on the area as said. awsome bouldering all over the meyers end of town. christmas valley, echo view, pie shop. there is endless bouldering in the basin ENDLESS. washoe boulders in carson are amazing also. i live in meyers and can boulder something different everyday of the week within a 20 min bike ride. drive 20-30 and there is more then you can do in a lifetime.

there might be some good spots but not right in south shore. rock climbing isnt that popular here, but there was recently an article in the tahoe daily tribune about good bouldering spots. the best place to be in the summer is the beach, good hiking and biking trails too. and the night clubs are good on the weekends if ur 21 or over

^ya ur probably right,but who rockclimbs anyway? ive lived here my whole life and maybe know 2or 3 people who actually climb often
