Well I live like 5 miles from North Chicago. There are a bunch of trash hills about 1 hour away. Tyrol Basin has a pretty nice park and pipe and that takes 2-2.5 hours. Nothing even close to out west though. Anyway, welcome.

well there is nothing around there but if you travel way up north to the U.P. there is some ok skiing.... Mt. Bohemia, marquette mtn.(should be hill not mtn), Mt. Ripley all the other places suck

tyrol is like 2 and a half hours away from chicago and they have a good park...i have a feeling thats about as good as its gonna get. i like it there....they probably have the best park in the midwest besides spirit mountian

hell no it's not the best park marquette mtn. is better and spirit's park pretty much sucks it could be better for how much room they have but they do nothing good with it

I live in a northern suburb of Chicago and there are 3 'mountains' about an hour away and they are Grand Geneva Resort which has a good park, Alpine Valley that is alright, and Wilmot which is the worst out of all of them, they are all in Wisconsin. Then about 3 hours away is Devil's Head, Cascade and Chestnut mountain, those and ty are probably the best places.

why the fuck would anyone want to move to the midwest. this place sucks some major ass. Now I dont suck ass, but if I were to suck ass, I bet it would be just like this place.

Tim, if you remember me...I'm Brody ..I bought a jacket from you like not this past winter, but the like spring before it. exactly 1 year ago, how cute, our anniversary. anyways I repped a few jackets for you for a while, and pants i think, and now i'm offering you an invation to come ski in hell, aka ohio. feel free.

i wont drop out of high school for skiing, mom

WILMOT hahaha man i live in the town. you think livin in north chi sucks, at least you have shit to do other then the goddamn pile-o-poo in the winter. but if you are up at the wilmot, alpine, or grand g, look for me, im the one with no style...

I worked at wilmot the last two season. And yes it is a pile of shit there. but they did do a good job making snow this season so the skiing was good but no park. except for like a day or two there was a nice jump. the last day they where open was so sweet just a little jump but still fun.
