Sup yall. Im moving to lake louise for the winter to work and ski. Anyone live near there. Im 20 from Nova Scotia and basically dont know anyone out that way. Working at Deer lodge and I get there on the 5th unless I get lost. Names Mitch North if anyone wants to chill and drink.

haha yeah man, I did the same thing last season. I'm from nova scotia too, just got back to Banff. I might end up living in LL again this season, but Banff is more likely (read if I can find a place that isnt redic expensive)

I'll be working at the Lake though, so i'll see you around for sure man. Look for oakley/sessions outerwear and jp vs juliens or ants for skis.

Why? The town is falling apart. Now I'm going to go out on a limp here and say that I'm the only one who has lived there for more than one year.

I grew up in the town from age 0 to 13. The place is terrible for stuff to do. I can't put a older/maturer vision on it, but the place is expensive and busy, just crawling with tourists.

The ski hill business is falling apart there, becoming to expensive as well.

On a positive side, check out the Outpost, great food, cozy place. That place downstairs at the Inn is good too.

all i wanna do is ski and do some work to support me. and my hill is crap so it will be a very nice change for me.

just get something in the 100mm range. Lake Louise has been dry for acouple seasons. Dont take nice skis for early season either, I'll sell you my Prophet 90's

well if u hate park then lake louise is the place for you! and u would be better off buying some carving skis for that place, they get the odd dump which makes the back side good, but for the most part its a lame hill, live in banff and ski at sunshine instead, better snow and a good park!

pump your breaks!

if you dont like JUMPS louise is for you.

they still have a selection of slide surfaces. albeit not as good as sunshines mwahahaha.
