So some friends and I are moving to Summit county this fall. I'm looking for a job and 4 bdr. house... anyonen have any suggestions/leads. Just thought I would throw it out there! Any help is greatly appreciated. We not having any problem finding apts but houses are a little harder. Thanks!

are you completely commited to summit? Cause 20min from summit is a town called leadville, and the rent is 10x cheaper than summit. It is 20 min away, but theres a ton of backcountry and urbans in leadville. the town is pretty dead, not much goes on, but if your looking for cheap rent then i would suggest it. Im looking to move out of my house, and i currently live in leadville, and want to continue living in leadville. Its about 20 min to copper, 30 to keystone, and 40 to vail and breck....i travel to copper everyday in the winter and its not that bad. pluse theres hardly any apartments in leadville, they are all houses, most allow dogs and are already funished. Like I said, im looking to move too but i cant afford a 2 bdrm or whatever by myself, so im looking for roomies. Rent averages at about $300-400 a month. Whereas summit youll be lucky to find the cheapest at $600 a moth for 1 bedroom in a 4 bdrm house...Just throwing it out there. message me if your interested. ive lived in leadville for 3 years now, its cheap and a good place if you like to ride.
