Moving to Bend in the fall

I’m moving down to Bend this fall to go to school at COCC and am looking for new things to get into there. I’ve gotten into fly fishing this summer so I’m looking for new spots to go there. Also want to get into mountain biking but don’t have a bike yet. What else do you enjoy doing there? Just wanna get out and meet new people and get into more activities.
 
Sounds like you are on the right track, Bend is a great place for the outdoor enthusiast. Biking, hiking, fishing, frisbee golf, beer drinking are all big in the area. Once you get moved there you will meet people like minded and looking for the same as you. Check Craigslist in your area for a bike, you might even find one in Bend once you get there. Might want to go to a shop and find out what you really want before you start shopping so you don’t end up wasting your benjimans. Good luck in school homie
 
Focus on school so you can stay on top of your studies. Bachelor has a long season & you can hike for turns too. Probably won’t have time for much else. Check out Hoodoo too for some awesome terrain.

Thanks man, appreciate it! I think I’ll wait till I’m down there to start looking for a bike so I’ll try to make it to some the shops there.

Will do. I haven’t been to hoodoo in like 10 years and don’t remember it so I’d love to revisit this winter. Thanks for the advice.

facebook marketplace, its way more legit than craigslist. Don't take any bullshit from sellers and don't be a dick
