Moving to BC

I might be moving to Langley, BC for school next year and I was just curious about which resorts are the closet and some information about them. Any information would be great. Thanks.

Manning is closer to Langley that Cypress, Seymour and Grouse. And Baker is closer to Langley than Whis is. Weekend traffic can be a bitch out there on the no. 1.

get the 4x4 pass and ski at whistler. ITs your cheapest and best option. Baker is good too, but dealing with the border is a huge pain in the ass; sometimes out of nowhere its an extra 1-1.5 hours on your trip. I don't think manning is closer than the vancouver locals. From Langley, Manning is about 1.5-2 hours where as grouse would probably be 45 minutes to an hour. But the locals are very limited and have a horrible vibe at them, especially Grouse!

Grouse is skiing with groomers and an ok park when they get around to making it. It is full people and tourists who suck though(its got a cheap pass though). Seymour is small as shit(grouse is small too) but has better park and dope backcounty. It is a toss up but the lines and people at grouse are as anoying as shit.

what have u ever driven??

thats crazy talk its way closer to go to locals then manning

HEll baker is closer then Manning

nevermind, i retract my comments regarding manning. clearly im retarded if i think thats true. i must have been thinking of somewhere else.

grouse is small they have 3 parks but only the bigest one is anygood

seymour sucks

and cypress is ok

bascily all the local mountains dont have thet great of snow

manning is far from langley and whoever said baker? whistler is the best bet

you can take greyhound outta coquitlem for $26 both ways

Seymour's sweeet it's the cheapest and closest to Vancouver.. kinda far for you, but it's park destroys Cypress and Grouse. If you want to Terrain hit Cypress, if ur a park bunny then hit Seymour.

seymour is your best option. dope vibe. shitty lifts. best park on the local hills. backcountry is excellent.

cypress is the same price as grouse(which is bullshit unless you got a pass) and seymour's slightly cheaper. It's the least overpriced for what they have.
