Moving to aspen

hey im from michigan just out of high school and im moving to aspen in november, im pretty sure ive got a job lined up at a nice hotel there. and i was just wondering if anyone had anything to say about living in aspen.
 
i have a place right at the base of aspen mt. and all i can say is since ur under 21 not much to do. i hope you have a good job, and might wanna find a diff option rather then hotel. skiing is sick but everything is mad pricey

Aspen is a nice little town. I live a few hours away from there. It's awesome to go there for the X-Games. You have a hand up being that you will have a place to live there. It is kinda pricey though. Great skiing. Good parties and pretty girls. Lots of wine also. All in all it's a great place. You will have fun!
 
hot girls, expensive as shit, good terrain, good park, everything costs out the ass, and nothing is cheap

i hope you have looked into a place to stay, good luck making rent
 
I live in Summit COunty (Frisco).

I can't wait to go to Aspen for the X-Games. I got a room at the ST. Regis!!!! PARTY!!!! WHOOOOO!O!!!
 
shit the regis they have such a nice pool

and your only like a 1 minute walk away from the busses that go to all the mountains

im making the move too. im working and living on snowmass but need to get outta employee housing cause it blows. any suggestions?
 
im gonna be living in a place called burlingame, its like an employee housing project 2 or so miles from downtown aspen. it looks like a sweet place and im getting an awesome deal, 550 a month for a two bedroom apartment with one roommate. as far as i can gather id be paying twice or three times as much if i was living in comparable non employee housing.

does anyone know anything else about burlingame, from what ive found it sounds like its brand new and an overall cool place.
