Moving, need ppl to ski with this winter

hey, my names Dave and im moving to Cochrane. Im looking for people like 14 or 15 to ski with this winter at COP,and Lake Louise, and ppl who are around that age who live in Cochrane or NW Calgary (like the Crowfoot area).

and is anyone in the central Alberta Freestyle Club? If so whats it like? cuz im thinking of joining it.

ya join southern. Theres lots of people on that and then you could even meet Chad Sulmanis the creator of sketchline films. Wouldnt that be great!? Maybee if your good enough he could put you in his movie! That would be amazing! Being in a movie thats gonna suck so much his mom will kill herself!

yah definatly join southern that way u get tons of kids of all ages u get to ski with u ski all the time with them and its super fun

def. dont join southern, ski team freestyler homos. you gotta wear the same jacket and pants as everyone else so you look like a bitch, and you can get into just as many comps without southern. fuck em. just go ski.

all you duesbags that think team skiin is so shitty, how many trips do you take, and how many funded trips do you get. every pro is on a team of some sort, film or sponser wise, so think about it

I went to COP like 10 times. That was pretty rad. Spent 300 on a seasons pass, so at 30 dollars a day I feel like I got my moneys worth. Then I put my knee into my mouth on an unat 5 to flat and that was worth another 1000 in dental work. So who's cool now, huh?

I have a place in Fernie so i am always thur anyway, and definatly travel to local contests, but I dont travel to the States, but it seems really fun. However, teams seem really great and a rad place to meet people but I do not want to front the cash, and for ME, one of the reasons why I started skiing and mountain biking (which is niether here nor there to anyone else but is relevant to what I have to say) is to get away from team sports. I also realize that in all the contests that the teams and clubs go to, the competitors do ski for themselves and no points are awarded to the whole team. I also understand the exceptional opportunities you guys get, but witht he people I ride with, they are my rad team, and I don't have to pay any money to be on the "team", and the opportunities I get, seem just as rad too me as going to the States and Eastern Canada.

Fuck you, teams are awsome fun. and you dont have to wear the team coat. And you dont get to go to as many local comps if your not in freestyle.
 
most of these local freestyle comps you speak of are like lame little pipe comps and or mogul comps that you have to be in a team to enter correct me if im wrong or you could just tell me to fuck my self like a mature adult
