im sure this is a repost, im really sorry about that, but I cant find anything i the searchbar

ANYWAYS, im coming to whistler, soon as possible, how's it up there, your all the luckiest people ever for getting to live there. Also, if i live in vancouver hows the drive? is it long and tedious or not that bad??? how much is rent in whistler also? is it easy to get jobs? thats about all the questions i have. Thanks for answering!

also for universities, if i was to get learned out there, where is the best to go for a skiing community. Thanks again!

living in vancouver the drive to whistler isnt too bad takes me just over an hour depending on traffic but if ur gonna live up here for pretty much just skiing i would try an get a place in whistler. Getting a job isnt too tough because of all of the tourisim shops and companies always need an extra hand. for a university i dont know much but u could check out Quest down in squamish like half and hour away from whistler right between whistler and vancouver, as quest is like a really out door focused university. hope this helps, u wont regret moving out here

thanks for the help man! my thought process with living in vancouver was that rents probubly cheaper but now that i think about it, gas prices will kind of make that less of an issue. +K for the help!

i am paying 450/month including utilities and i can walk to the creekside gondola in like 5 minutes

yea thats exactly the same setup i have...you in bayshores? people always talk about housing being so expensive here, but if you look for deals its really not that bad...its just the other stuff like food or anything bought in a store that can get to be a bit pricey

Pulling out of my parkade to parking in Creekside is 1h15m for me most days (I live downtown). I probably average 100km/h assuming safe roads

Rent in Van is the same or higher than Whistler unless you live out in the suburbs.

rent in vancouver is super expensive, you won't save any money by renting in the city and driving to whistler.

I really never understood peoples thought process when they say its cheaper to live in teh city. Gas is more expensive, you have to drive to the hill which is 2/3 tank of gas almost there and back.

live in whistler its the life.
