Iv'e done some searching on where the best skiing is in UT and come up with nothing grand, but some help would be fantastic. I am driving down from fairbanks AK to where ever the skiing is best and I can find a job and a place to stay. If anyone has a decently priced room message me. i ski, getting tele gear, do backcountry adventures, ceramic artist on the wheel, work out, bike, climb, and all that good out doorsy shit.
I am planning on buying some season passes, if anyone has an idea on which places would be the best and for what reason that would be fantastic. I really am coming down for the powder and cliffs, but i also enjoy lapping the park.
any and all help is greatly appreciated, thanks bobby.

move into somewhere cheap in sugarhouse and go to bird or alta. Maybe powder mountain if you head the other way.

theres jobs and cheap housing all over salt lake city, sugar house and the avenues are both good areas. snowbird and alta are by far the best for natural terrain and snow, but both of their parks suck. brighton is probably the best compromise, but if i were you i'd get a pass to alta or the bird, then maybe borrow a pass/buy a day pass at park city or brighton for park days.

This. I live in PC but my season pass is to Snowbird. Their park is tiny (Alta doesn't even have one), but nobody cares. In terms of return on investment, you can probably ski on your Bird pass from November until July 4th if we have another winter somewhat similar to this past one. Brighton is also cool, has good trees, a decent park scene, but has some incredible back and sidecountry. If you're young, which I assume you are, live in Sugarhouse.
