Movie Trailers Cancelled

I am sure you guys noticed by now but there has been no trailers posted yet, well I guess rage released theres but apparently they missed the memo I just saw in my fax machine.

At the weekly ministry of skiing conference board meeting summit it was decided to cancel this summers Movie Trailer season due to the poor economy. According to the memo production companies were ordered to stop editing their trailers and instead count on a series of blog posts and windows movie maker slide shows to sell their movies. It is a risky move but I can only see this working out for the best.

I cannot wait to see the movies in the fall though.

This is true. Level 1 got the memo through our fax machine last week, just in time to stop production on the trailer (which will save approximately $11,145). Instead we will be Twattering some micro-blog updates about our summer...what we eat, our favorite colors, random feelings, etc. Level 1 will also be dropping a Refresh Powerpoint slideshow on Metube.com in the coming weeks instead of a traditional trailer. Stayed tuned to your beepers!
 
sigh.... come on, I really need some trailers in the summer months. but i guess its for the best.....
 
im not buying this because how the hell is that going to save them money. they are going to lose money. im not going to buy a movie without a trailer. trailers stoke kids out

Pager reception is great, however due to economic restrictions the internet service was downsized to dial-up connection, so it may take a bit longer to upload the Powerpoint and we can't use the phone bank when somebody is online. However if any folks out there are interested in having a "trailer premiere" we can send you a CD-ROM or VHS for $pho.99 + shipping and handling.

And some of these production companies have to get with the times, who still doesn't have a fax machine? Maybe you should try telegraphing them.
