So this will be my first year FreeSkiing, so at my local shop(The-shop) I picked up some Rossignol S1's, so I want to know will these be good for the fist season or so on to learn on? I've only DH skied before so I have no experience of doing Jibs or "real" jumps.

I just want to know do you think these are "ok" first skis and I can learn a few things before picking up a new pair?

those don't look like "true twin" skis, but they should be fine. that seems like it'd be the first step from moving from dh to park skiing. good luck

they'll do fine !

i did my first frontflip and 360 on slalom skis :)

they're gonna be fine for your first year(s), later on as you progress, you can pick a ski that suits your style better, good luck with the skiing !

and remember, you're skiing for the fun of it !

don't care too much about the opinion of others, just have fun on the mountain !

my first pair of twins were dynastar troubled youths. Man oh man i loved those skis. I recked shit on those.

You're first skis, will be more or less learning boxs rails and just jumping. you won't be riding switch very much so twin tips arn't even really needed.

Welcome to the freestyle word my friend!!

Thanks for the reply's but with out starting a new topic do you think I should get some new goggles because my other ones have no cushioning left.

if they're comfortable/work then use them, if not get a new pair. and i liked how you asked whether those skis were any good or not after you bought them. nice

I have some 2007 S1s as my urban and backyard setup ski. Thing have like 2 edgecracks after years of abuse.

If anyone has the S1(Squindos), I think that squindos are the same as the normal ones, is it hard to land/ride switch on them.
