Hi, I'm new to this forum :d..I know my question may be stupid but idc :D..so yeah i bought some new rossignol S1 and the guy at the shop mounted them at the standard position...Since im not only doing park (something like 60% groomed 40% park) I was wondering if I should re-drill them to mount them in the center? Is it worth it?? Is there any difference when it's drilled 2 time? Thanks :DDDD

(sorry if my english is being bad, im not english attt allll :DD)

sorry for double post...I also wanted to know if anyone tryed the rossignol S1 if so...how do you find tthem in park? :d

You should center mount skis if your skiing switch a lot. Maybe 50% of the time or so. It wont be the best thing for the skis but it wont ruin them. I'd bring it in to the shop and have them do it if you're stoked on it. If you doing a lot of all mountain skiing the skis wont perform like they should at all tho.

Your call. Thats what we tell our customers at least :)

Ok thanks for the answer...tomorrow ill call to see how much it would cost but can you tell me if ill lose flexibility or anything if they are re-drilled?

nah it doesnt affect the feel of the ski if only redrill them once..

if you do it to many times thats when you get problems with the core splitting and stuff

Thanks alot :D I just called the shop and it will cost 15$...Only 1 more question haha... :P Am I better to mount them at the core center or the true center? the core is like 2cm behind the true center

Leave them where they are. If they feel like they should be forward then remount them. No sense in fixing something that isnt broken yet.

I made them at core center +1cm :P thats like 2-3 cm from true center...will test them tomorrow or this weekend :D thansk for the help :)
